We had an incredible stay at a beautiful place with a comfortable room and a marvelous king bed. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel special, even dropping us off and picking us up from a restaurant. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The highlight of our stay was the private half-day safari arranged by the helpful host. We saw so much wildlife and enjoyed a picnic breakfast in a remote area. we highly recommend this hotel for its value for money and superb experience.

Loved the delicious à la carte breakfast, especially the gourmet toaster pastries. The safari service was a blast, riding a bicycle rental through the park like a wild animal. And let's not forget the amazing terrace, perfect for contemplating life while sipping a martini.
Oh, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything was just perfect!

The triple room at Forest Edge Safari Villa was cozy and comfortable, with a modern touch. We loved having an electric kettle for our morning coffee and the cool tile floor made it refreshing after a long day. The air conditioning was a blessing during the hot weather!
Personally, I found the private entrance in the double room a bit inconvenient. But hey, that's just my preference!

very nice and clean place with a great view of the jungle from the room. breakfast cooked by the host's mom is delicious and generous. the host is friendly - helpful, and easy to communicate with. they can help you book a safari - which is only 15 minutes away from the hotel. wi-fi and shower are perfect
Would definitely recommend

Stunning property near the national park. Room was like a luxury hotel, and the food was amazing - one of the best meals in Sri Lanka. The host was great, helped arrange our safari and taxi. Unbeatable location for exploring the park and easy to reach from the main road.
But, oh boy, let's talk about the romantic part. The ambiance was lacking.

Clean, well managed. Great host, organized safari tour. Saw elephants, peacocks, crocodiles, water buffalos. Comfortable stay.

The closest airport is conveniently far away. The breakfast is so fancy, like who doesn't want an à la carte breakfast? They even have a safari service and a taxi service, because clearly we're in the middle of nowhere. Oh, and you can rent a bicycle, because why not?
